  SO FUN!!  Those shoes are a party on your feet!  I am not at all bothered by the big sweater -- it looks fashionably oversized to me.  You look fab!

  DV, let me start by saying sorry because I did not get to reply on your thread a few days ago and wish you a very, very happy birthday (10 days after my son's, now that will be easy to remember :-) ) I was positively stunned to read which anniversary it was ^^, I honestly thought it would be maybe 5th. And what a great way it was to announce it, true to your style. You have jumped on board with no hesitation and have brought such Style Quotient to YLF that I have instantly become a fan. You already know I love the mix of feminine and masculine in your outfits, and the fantastic mix of class and sass in every single thing you post.
  
  Take this outfit... I love the shoes, they would make me want to sing just looking at them. I too am not bothered about the size of the sweater, while it is big it is also not "careless big" but "I-know-what-I-wear-and-why-I-wear-it big". Navy button down is a great touch. And your hat... swoon. You really can't put a fashion foot wrong.

  Ornella -- Wow -- no need to apologize at all!  Life gets busy. Then it slows down which is why I am on this forum at this ungodly hour of the morning. I absolutely accept your shaving 12 years off my age -- whole-heartedly :-D
  I think I have said this to you before -- we belong to the mutual admiration society! I completely adore your style and your use of color, proportion, line/fit  and masculine/feminine elements .
  
  The hat, which is a men's hat was purchased on a trip to LA in 2011 -- I first saw it and insisted DH buy it. He did. Then, I was not satisfied with part-time access to the darn hat I bought the exact same hat in a different size to allow room for my hair. It said "buy me" and I obeyed.

  Love this -- the shoes are so fun, and the sweater is intentionally oversized. Love the dark shirt underneath and the hat is brilliant.

  You look terrific, and I think the shirt is right on trend.  Those shoes, those shoes are amazing!  I am totally watching how you style these.  I love the concept, and have a pair I have my eye on, but I have no idea what to do with them!

  Late to the thread, but I wanted to say that I love the "jazz age" feeling of this outfit.  Looks like Sammy and Gene and Fred and Ginger all rolled into one!
  
  Seriously, the shoes and cap make it for me.  The ease of the "main items" keeps it real world and not costume.
