Magic Dress

I found this dress while shopping on Sunday. I picked up some fabulous pieces that I will be featuring in the weeks to come. I liked this dress on sight. I loved this dress once I tried it on. (Who doesn't love a dress that immediately makes you look 10 lbs slimmer?). I usually have issues with not enough room on top and too loose on the bottom. Which is why I usually avoid dresses. This time I won -- perfect fit (top & bottom) with great styling. This dress is from the Talbot's outlet (petites) and is a ponte knit.

    A beautiful dress, and you look fantastic wearing it! We had a Talbot's outlet here and they closed. I was sorry to see them go.

    Karie - I was only able to shop Talbot's online before we moved here. Their locations were so far away from my location in the city. Now my situation is the reverse of yours. I am sorry you lost your outlet store.

    Stunning on you! That dress was a wonderful find. I haven't been in a Talbots since they moved out of our closest mall. It may be time to try again.

    You look like a star! So classy. I love this dress on you and I'm so glad you found your perfect fit! How much you love it really shows in your smile as well. :) So often I have the opposite problem - too tight around the hips and loose on top. O dear!

    Harmonica - I'm not sure -- the sooner the better. DH wants to go back to doing our weekly date nights, but I have not yet found the right sitter.  We have an alumni event in early March and this would be perfect. So the alumni event at the latest and date night at the earliest. ;-)
