Navy fuchsia and lace

Now that the snow is gone (for now ;-)) I can wear some of the outfits I put together on Monday. I was thinking of spring flowers when I put this outfit together. I'm wearing:

  • dark navy skinny jeans
  • Elle black and cream striped tee with lace
  • ON fuchsia cardigan
  • Vera Wang Ballet flats
Thank you Krista for introducing me to design-seeds I would never have dreamed this outfit up without that inspiration!

YLF!!  You look terrific!  I love the warm fushia on you, and it pairs beautifully with the navy.  A terrific spring outfit.

wow, you look great in fuchsia! isn't nice to be able to wear flats and leave the boots at home!

My combination is navy and hot pink (fuchsia)..You look chic and ready for spring...Glad you can rock the flats...

  • Lantana replied 9 years ago

Lovely. The flats nicely bookend the lace yoke on the top.

Love love love!!! I was just putting together my color palette for spring/summer, as fucshia was the accent. Now I can see it will be a good choice. This is so fresh and pretty, and classic but more unexpected than red with the navy and white.

Torontogirl - I became enamored last spring with navy and fuchsia. When I saw the visual from design seeds this year my enthusiasm was sparked anew.

Lantana - I hadn't noticed  the bookending effect -- you're right. Note to self for future outfit planning ;-). I think it was a subconscious choice.

Crutcher/kkards - YES no boots! I just can't be bothered with the stooping over and zipping up boots at this point. Any shoe that just slips on and I can keep going is my favorite shoe right about now.

Navy and fuchsia is wonderful on you, and you already had me with the stripes. I love how you are tweaking a classic color combination (red, blue & white, that we both love) and made it very fresh. You look radiant!

I love the strong fuschia on you -- it really adds depth to the navy and white. And your hair looks fab!

Such beautiful colors on you and I am impressed how your innate sense of proportions comes through in every picture.

Fuchsia? You said fuchsia? Of course I came to look, and was wowed as ever.

Thanking the heavens for the end of the snowy season. I can't be sure it's done here, but it has to be pretty near done at least. I put the puffer coat AWAY.

Is there a color you can't wear, girlfriend? You look fantastic in every color! I actually love all the colors in this.

And yes, NO MORE SNOW. It's April, for cryin' out loud!
