Today I participated in a mock trial as a juror. It was a lot of fun. I had to wear lots of layers because the facility ran cold. So I'm wearing a long-sleeved black tee under the dress and a tweed jacket over the whole thing to keep warm. I loved the idea of doing charcoal gray tights and shoes with the purple dress and b/w tweed. Everyone responded well to the color of the dress. I think because it stood out so well against the neutrals. This is the first time I've worn these pieces together though I've had both for some time. What do you think?

Gorgeous combination, and great on you. This reminds me of when my boss and I interviewed a young woman to fill a position as a therapist in our agency. She wore a gray sheath dress with purple pumps and a purple bag. My boss was completely overcome with how great she looked and hired her practically on the strength of her fab gray and purple outfit. This was the first of many stunning outfits. Luckily she turned out to be a great employee:-)

Adelfa - I have really been crushing on purple and gray for the past week. I have worn gray suits with purple accessories to interviews. I just don't have a purple bag that I would take on interviews. Something to consider...

You look amazing in that gorgeous purple. And springlike. I also like the grey in place of black. It looks so lovely with the purple and the lighter shade helps evoke spring.
