What I'm Wearing to Watch the Oscars

I wanted something at-home glam if such a thing exists. I made a tasty cod soup and entertained DD during the process.

I have had all of these pieces for a while. I have never worn them together and I am pleased with the clean lines and pop of this outfit. I of course had to do my hair and makeup for the occasion ;-)

I think your hair and makeup always adds an element of glam to your looks, even the most casual. Have never seen you looking anything less!

You are too cute dressing for the Oscars...I love the sweater with the tourquoise pants...and make-up, hair done...You rock the look...
(Now if we were sharing pictures of whatweworetowatchtheoscars, you would win because I am decked out in pj's, three cuddle dud tops with an old Eddie Bauer shirt over them...hey, its below zero here...clunky slippers and warm socks...But I would like some cod soup, please...smile)

Crutcher - That was my look before 4pm :-) You of course may have some soup in spirit along with fresh garlic bread.

I love it, you really do look glamorous, love your hair and make-up too. You look so cute in these bright colored pants, loved the green from the other day too.

Love how you are taking the time to celebrate and dress up even though you have a tiny one. This is so healthy for you and is something many young mothers forget to do! You look amazing!

Day Vies- at home glam, indeed. You always look so polished and this outfit brings a smile. Like the turquoise and soft gray combination punctuated with white. Bravo!

Why not have a party at home?  You look beautiful, with lovely color, cozy sweater, gorgeous hair.  Hope the baby sleeps and your favorites win!

And you should win the reward for the best dressed Oscars viewer!
What a joy to see the spring colors even if only inside.
Your hair and makeup do look glam!

I love this outfit, and I'm beginning to wonder if there is any colour you DON'T look fab in! You definitely win the prize for best dressed viewer!

Fabulous at home glam.   The soft grey/silver looks great on you, and the pants look very So Cal to me. Fun!

(not so glam over here - I'm squeezing in my workout during commercial breaks, so it's leggings and tshirt for me)

  • Day Vies replied 9 years ago

ATLynn - I am so bowing down to you. Way to get that workout in! Congratulations on your dedication -- Love it!

Good grief DV!  How is it that you can look glam in a casual outfit?  Can't imagine what you might look like if you ever actually walked the red carpet!

  • Suz replied 9 years ago

It exists, and you personify it. If there are any "best dressed at home" awards going around, you win.

  • deb replied 9 years ago

    Wonderful colors on you!

I love it!  I dressed up for the show as well.  Someday I would like to have an Oscar party and have everyone dress up.  I love your glam hair and makeup, chic outfit and true Oscar spirit.
