WIW 10.1.13 and 10.2.13

Indian summer has arrived in my neck of the woods. So I have had to revive some outfits from earlier this year.

Yesterday I wore my favorite blue cardi and today I'm wearing my favorite dress.

I am still reeling from the news and eagerly making plans for a house party in the next 2 weeks. Happy Wednesday!

Beautiful outfits, DV! I especially love the dress -- no wonder that is favourite. That pattern is fantastic on you. It seems to echo your unique energy and intelligence.

That dress is a favorite for me - you look absolutely gorgeous in the colors and style. And no wonder that blue cardigan is your favourite - that colour is delicious on you.

Day Vies, you are stunning! Again! Like always! I love how this looks on you.  I am seriously beginning to consider whether I should just follow your blog and copycat everything you wear.  Seriously. considering.

I really need to convince you to move to Portland.  (I already did my law school time in Chicago. Loved it. But love Portland more.  As would you. ;) )  Can you imagine how much damage we could do out shopping together?

(ETA: DV, I totally understand--those spouses can be so unreasonable about shopping priorities! Just kid din'! Congrats again to you both.)

K - you plus me plus shopping equals danger :-)  You'll also have to convince DH to move to Portland. We're also celebrating his transition into a new position. He will be starting as a VP of a mid-sized PR firm. He's really excited especially since the President recruited him herself.(Yeah, prez is a SHE --- yay!)

You look great in both outfits.  The blue cardi is a beautiful color!  I love the pattern and colors of the dress.

    You look fab, COUNSEL!  ;)

You look wonderful in that dress DV:)  The second outfit is lovely too, however I would really like to see a v neck cardigan with this :)

  • Jaime replied 10 years ago

    Love that dress in particular!

  • Karie replied 10 years ago

You look positively gorgeous in that dress! The second outfit is beautiful too, but the dress...fabuloso!

Love the dress.  Stunning and very flattering!  And thank you for wearing cardis so beautifully.  I wanted to rehabilitate the ones in my closet, and you've giving me fab ideas!

  • Day Vies replied 10 years ago

Deborah -- I think you are spot on with the v-neck cardi. The ones I have are too short for this top. I have been on the hunt for longer more refined v-neck cardis. The ones I find are too casual, have cable knit/textural details that I don't want, or they are super luxe cashmere. Something mid-ranged would be perfect.
