Pictures from Orlando Trip

Just a quick post on wiw while in Orlando FL. It was unseasonably chilly. I don't think it was more than 63 degrees. Have a great day YLF!

Hello DV, so glad you had a good time while you were here. :) The weather was chillier than usual but for those of us who have to endure long, sweltering summers, it was very welcome. I would love it if the weather was like that all year round! You brought some colour and that fab smile to Florida, YLF!

I love the pink and blue shoes in #1 and the mod style of the dress in #2.  Too bad the weather was cooler than expected.  I hope you had a good trip otherwise.

Hey, this is another side of you and I love it! You've got amazing legs!
  • Vivi replied 11 years ago
The dress in #2 was made for you. I second the comment about the lovely legs.

Wow you kept those secret! ( your legs I mean ;)) You look colourful and happy, glad you had a fab time.

Just for the record, I have not been keeping my legs a secret. I'd wear shorts and skirts on a regular basis if winter didn't show up an ruin the party in my part of the upper mid-west. :-)

I've said it before and I'll say it again - you look incredible in cobalt blue! Adore that first outfit with those fab pops of color in your cardigan, belt and those incredible shoes. And your dress in outfit #2 has got such a great retro vibe - love it.

OMG Day Vies you kill me with you fabulousness!  You look gorgeous.

I want you to move to Portland so that we can be BFFs (best friends in fashion, of course)!!!!
  • Robin M replied 11 years ago
Nope, she's moving to VaBeach to be my BFF. Though I'd have to seriously up my game to hang.... maybe she could go on tour?
  • Joy replied 11 years ago
You are looking especially gorgeous in blue, and those beautiful legs!!

You stun once again!  I'd be so aggravated if I went to FL and it was chilly...
  • Day Vies replied 11 years ago
Odd that you should say that K Can. DH and I are considering relocating and we mentioned Portland or Seattle as possible candidates. Who knows????

Robin-- oh you are too funny! I have family in VA Beach so I get there from time to time. You may be on to something ... ;-)

Alaska -- it was frustrating -- not to mention a little uncomfortable at times but I was content to be away from home for a few days.

You look terrific!  I love the mod dress on you, and the shoes!

We have to do a Chicagoland meet-up before everyone else snatches you away!!

The shoes in #1 totally say Florida to me. Love. But I also love #2 because that is just too cool an outfit.

    You look fantastic!!

Wow, I love these casual looks.  The way you are pulling off shorter lengths but looking tasteful and not teenager while doing it, inspires me.  And I can't get enough of those pointy toe shoes in picture 1.

The plastic wrap picture cracks me up, are you covering for the rain or to keep warm?  :-)
  • Angie replied 11 years ago
How fun! You look radiant and stylish! Hope you had a fab trip :)
  • Day Vies replied 11 years ago
Thistle -- I completely agree we need to have a Chicagoland meet up! (have car will travel)
Coco -- I am actually wearing a plastic poncho because I was sitting in the second row at Blue Man Group. They HIGHLY recommend you wear them if you are in the first five rows because they make BIG messes.

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE....

(Then, desperately trying to play it cool:)  Yeah, really? That's cool. Seattle is nice. Of course, I've heard Portland is much more approachable. And the cost of living is lower. And you know I'm a lawyer, right, so I know a few folks in the legal community and would be happy to introduce you to folks and keep my ears tuned for any openings. You know. If you decided to move to Portland.

    (cracks) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

It's SO nice to feel so wanted. Maybe I'll start up a traveling show :-D

Love your total look ( even the plastic poncho!). But, I've got some serious shoe envy for the pair in # 1.
