Spring Green

I am apologizing in advance for the picture quality, but I could not keep this outfit to myself. I love this green pencil skirt -- I picked it up last month at BR and the peplum top was a splurge from Tahari in March. The top was perfect for today because it was spring like in that it was warm in the sun and cool in the shade. The top is made of a light wool. Tell me what you think!

What color is that top Day Vies? And more importantly is there no color, bright or neutral that you cannot wear beautifully? The fit and proportions look perfect to me and you look marvelous!

Wowee you have amazing legs -- skirt looks great. The colour of that top looks great with the metallic belt. Is it an asymmetrical peplum? I like it.

Terrific look for a gorgeous day!  The top will work beautifully into fall too, paired with deeper, more autumnal colors!

Shevia -- the top is a lovely warm sand color -- not muddy or cool at all. I normally don't like wearing neutrals close to my face but this hue is perfect.

Ceit -- Absolutely! The peplum hem is asymmetrical. I thought that was a cool bonus.

I love the hemline of your peplum top! You wear color so well, the color of your skirt is beautiful.

I love the asymmetrical peplum detail against the contrasting pencil skirt. They really set each other off.

What a great top! I love the asymmetrical hem! And the skirt is so fresh and bright. The silver belt adds just the right shine.

Oh, will you look at that asymmetrical top!!  I love it and that's the way to spring into the season.  What brand are the shoes, Day Vies?  I like them.  Also, the metallic belt is a nice touch with the peplum.  Outstanding!  I also agree with Beth Ann that this lovely pencil skirt will look great in other seasons, with navy, yellow, gray, plum, neutrals, you name it.
