I completely enjoyed myself listening to new and independent artists. I also unexpectedly ran into a friend of mine from college. So I decided that I my new favorite combo (mint and gray) would be the best way to celebrate the evening.

Oh my! I am so happy this outfit got the YLF full embrace. As I have said before, you all make it SO worth it to post outfits.
I did not cut my hair. The beauty and the curse of curly hair is how it "shrinks" when its wet. I was waiting for my hair to dry it was a little bit moist when these pictures were taken.
Vivi -- My make up is fairly simple and thank goodness cheap. I wear Loreal's color match foundation, powder and concealer. I wear Revlon's lipsticks and glosses. I do invest in good brushes. I have had a set of MAC brushes for the past 17 years.

Jayne yes -- you can definitely vote that I wear my hair curly more often. It's controlled chaos but it still takes work and effort, which is why it doesn't happen often.
I am fascinated with the process of getting dressed every day -- to me this is more challenging than getting dressed for a big event because what I wear is dictated by my activities, work environment, and the weather. Living in a climate that guarantees four seasons (or at least two extremes) provides both challenges and inspiration.
