Yes, I was channeling spring. The yellow sweater was channeling the sun, the print reminiscent of a garden trellis. The weather cooperated at least for a little while this morning; it was sunny and felt at least 60 degrees. So my hopes are raised that soon I'll be able to put away my socks and coats.
Here's what I'm wearing:
BR - yellow tipped sweater
Evan Picone - Essentials blouse
BR - cropped all-season wool trousers (yeah I was surprised they're 95% wool too ;-) )
Ellen Tracy - kitten heels

Free range egg yolk made me chuckle.
You look gorgeous in yellow! So pretty and fresh. The Chanel, style jacket really works for you. Love the patterned top. Another outstanding, super fab outfit! YLF!

DV this outfit is so fresh and sophisticated. I just saw a very similar jacket while at lunch, in a soft pink and white and thought of you. -

Love the way you use multiples in your wardrobe, and the combo of blue and yellow is vibrant, but not OTT.

I'm a bit on the fence with the pants length; I really can't make up my mind. Suffice to say in every other aspect you look fab. -

I think capri's that end mid-calf are completely unflattering especially if they are boxy (wide). Pants that taper and end somewhere under the calf -- well, that's a different story.

I am fascinated with the process of getting dressed every day -- to me this is more challenging than getting dressed for a big event because what I wear is dictated by my activities, work environment, and the weather. Living in a climate that guarantees four seasons (or at least two extremes) provides both challenges and inspiration.
